Switching is easy
Adding your medication schedule to Poppit is easy. Say what you take, or point the camera at the pharmacy label and let it read the directions. You’ll be up and running in no time.

Say it
“Tylenol 500mg twice a day.” Poppit fills in the dose, the form, the frequency and the end date.

Or snap it
Point the camera at the bottle. Poppit reads the doctor’s directions and builds the schedule and the reminders from them.
Questions people ask
What is the best free alternative to Medisafe?
It depends what you need. Poppit keeps unlimited medications, escalating reminders, your full history, export and iCloud sync free forever, with no account and no subscription. For refill tracking or caregiver features, Medisafe and MyTherapy have both and Poppit has neither. And if you would rather not install anything, Apple Health already tracks medications on your iPhone for free.
Is Poppit really free?
Yes, for medication tracking. Everything is unlocked for the first 30 days. After that Poppit stays a complete free tracker — unlimited medications, full dose history, escalating reminders, PDF and JSON export, iCloud sync, the iPad app, and the Schedule world. Only the seven 3D worlds, the haiku reminders, the full pill library and the voice and photo setup move behind a one-time purchase.
Does Poppit have a subscription?
No. There is one purchase, $14.99 or £14.99, and it is permanent. Family Sharing is included. Buy it during the trial or a year later. The moment you do, every world and pill comes back. Nothing renews, and nothing you have already tracked is ever taken away.
Can I move my medication list from Medisafe to Poppit?
There is no direct import, because no medication app on iOS can read another one's data. In Poppit you photograph each pharmacy label and it reads the directions and builds the schedule, reminders included. Re-entering a few medications takes a couple of minutes rather than an afternoon of forms. You can also type or say what you take in plain English.
Does Poppit check for drug interactions?
No, and that is deliberate — we will not ship interaction warnings without a data source we would trust with your health. Drug Facts in Poppit come from MedlinePlus and are reference only. If interaction checking matters to you, Apple Health includes it in the US for free, and Medisafe offers it too.
Is there an Android version of Poppit?
No. Poppit is iPhone and iPad only. If you are on Android, MyTherapy is the closest equivalent of the apps compared on this page.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Poppit has no accounts and no sign-up. Your medication data lives on your device and, if iCloud is on, in your own private iCloud, with sync tied to your Apple ID. We cannot see your history, and we do not sell or share it. See our Privacy Policy.
Taking your meds should feel like a small win
Free to download, and free to keep using.
Poppit is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It does not check for drug interactions. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about your medications.
